This work is located on the offshore storm water discharge pipes and outlet boxes at the 16th and 42nd streets oceanfront pump stations in Virginia Beach, VA. The work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of one 48" diameter flap gate and installation of a new flap gate, removal, design and installation of 12 new concrete manhole covers, as well as the removal of approximately 5,200 feet of sand and foreign material from the pipes.
