"Savannah"
The Savannah is a 39 foot by 14 foot square nose push boat with twin push knees , built in 2009. It provides a single pilot house with 360 degree viewing that sits forward over the engine space. The main hull is seperated via three watertight bulkheads into a forward collision void, a fuel tank compartment,a machinery compartment with twin diesels and a lazarette containing the steering gear. This boat is designed soley for daily use and contains no personnel facilities or comforts. The environmental climate control in the pilot house will be a recreational vehicle type roof mounted air conditioner with e heating strip to be powered by a portable generator.
