Back River Dredging and Shoreline Restoration

Precon Marine Inc. has been awarded the Back River Dredging and Shoreline Restoration and Protection Project by the City of Hampton. The job includes, but is not limited to, 29,170 CY of mechanical channel dredging, placement of 145,000 CY of fill material, construction of 5 stone breakwaters, as well as planting of 38,700 SY of Dune Grass. The 3.75 million dollar undertaking will begin in Sept. 2009.
