Robin Hood Road Bridge Improvements

On May 6, 2002, the City of Norfolk issued Precon Marine, Inc. a Notice to Proceed on the Robin Hood Road Bridge Improvement project. The work under this project consisted of the removal and replacement of the approach slab and abutment of the Robin Hood Road Bridge over the Norfolk water canal; removal and replacement of the drainage apron, bearing pads and pedestals; repair of delaminated concrete; clean and seal bridge deck and expansion joints and modify the guardrail system.
The project was completed in December
2002.
