Installation of Sheet Pile Wall
For Rehandling Facility

To increase bulk material transfer capabilities for their Rehandling Facility, BBB, LLC contracted Precon Marine, Inc. to complete a bulkhead project. The project consisted of the installation of 865 lineal feet of 60’ PZ27 steel sheet pile wall, 816 lineal feet of tie back wall, 840 lineal feet of timber fender system, 400 lineal feet of retaining wall, 6 pipe pile bollards, 495 lineal feet of concrete cap for South portion of sheet pile wall and 43,600 cubic yards of dredging along the mooring facilities for the Rehandling Facility on the Southern Branch of the Elizabeth River.
